“ It's been several years since I last visited crafted, and on my recent visit they did not disappoint! If you've never been, this taco spot offers a unique fusion of flavors. This is not your standard Mexican restaurant, they offer flavorful taco options blending unexpected recipes to set them apart. Their unique menu is the reason they have stood out and held their ground in downtown Greensboro for years. The interior is very industrial with high ceilings, concrete floor, exposed walls with some eclectic art work. Not being overly hungry on my visit, I opted for an order of nachos, which they covered with a generous portion of ground beef, and amazing queso, I only wish I'd had more chips. I would definitely recommend, and will certainly go back, hopefully sooner than my last visit! If you like tacos, check them out! ”
“ We wanted a quick bite and this is just perfect for what we wanted. We sat at the bar got two amazing street taco, delicious margaritas and all was perfect. ”
“ Great place to grab a quick bite before a show at the Tanger center....just a few blocks down on Elm. Great fun atmosphere, great varied menu of tacos and burgers. Lots of fun drinks, especially seasonal flavors. They have a lot of margaritas on then menu, but I went with the red blend wine and my friend had a beer. Decided to go with tacos as it was also a Tuesday! I chose the Bollywood ! A nice riff on Indian flavors . Tandoori style chicken, mint chutney, cilantro lime rice, tamarind, cilantro, pickled onions and puffed rice. Also comes with a side , I chose the cilantro lime rice not realizing there was some in my tacos! Honestly i didn't detect any cilantro lime in the rice, it actually had a red tint to it, no idea what was going on with that and was kinda over cooked . The tacos on the other hand were amazing! Great little spice pockets and I could make out every ingredient in it as I ate it. You chose flour or corn tortillas, mine came with two corn on each tacos (you get 2). My friend had the fixie tacos with sweet potato fries. Hers had braised beef, grilled pineapple, sweet spicy chilli sauce, coconut aioli , cilantro and scallions. Nice cross of sweet and spicy. She loved them and yes those fries are amazing! I should have gotten those! Service was ok, little slow, but we also had a trainee, so she was fine! We had plenty of time to get to our show. Nice casual eatery, I loved the variations on the tacos and the same on the burger menu, definitely hard to pick! ”
“ As a native mexican I'm usually hesitant to try mexican-flare-restaurants BUT my daughter recently moved to college in the area and she needed to tame her cravings, which led us to Crafted. The place is in a busy street and has cool seating areas outdoor and ample space indoor. Every hostess and server was attentive and friendly. Their menu is filled with creative dishes, looking at pictures on this page helped deciding. We had the stuffed avocado and elotes as starters. Avocado was delicious with a hint of spice but nothing crazy, chorizo in it wasn't greasy and overall very flavorful. The elotes could've used a bit more mayo, cayenne pepper on it wasn't spicy enough so they offered 3 different salsas and they were all so good! We shared an order of tacos, bollywood and wayfarer. Bollywood was spicy/lemony and wayfarer's beef was super soft and yummy, both came richly garnished exactly as described on the menu. Definitely a place we would come back to and recommend to try out. ”
“ Crafted is a casual place to sit down and enjoy some delicious tacos. I came at the start of the dinner period and saw plenty of seats available. My server was prompt and the kitchen was punctual. My taco plate was simple and enjoyable. The Wayfarer taco has a Korean twist and the Baja taco is your classic taco. I recommend a side of beans to complement your tacos. It doesn't look like much food in the picture but I'm satisfied with my experience here. I look forward to trying some of their other tacos. ”
“ Ordered: Fixie on corn tortillas with pico and nachos as my side I ordered this to go after a long day. There is no difference in the amount of food you get when you dine in or order to go. The Fixie always has a good amount of meat in the taco and if you lie your taco a little spicy, it will leave you happy. ”
“ It has been a while since I visited Crafted. I remember before the renovation, their homemade ketchup stood out to me. I made sure I ordered fries so I could dip my fries into the goodness. The ketchup was not the recipe I remember. A little disappointment there, but I will tell you the Greasy Spoon burger is easily in the top 5 in the area so far for me. The burger was delicious! You could taste the freshness of the toppings. The sauce was a good pairing, the patty was nicely cooked. The bun was soft and a nice compliment. Yes, I will be getting this again. The fries were good. Our server brought an assortment of sauces to dip our fries and we really appreciated the variety. We ordered an elote and asked for the sever to cut it in half so we could share. It was good. Our server Ben was so nice and helpful. I understand he was busy. We were a little disappointed that our cocktails came late and seconds before our meals were served. So we didn't get to enjoy them before the food arrived. We didn't want the food to get cold, but we also didn't want the drinks to get watered down while we ate. For that, I had to decrease my rating by a star. My Bloody Mary luckily pretty good. Very peppery and paired well with the olive, okra and bacon. The restaurant is roomy and clean. The bathrooms were maintained well. The host and servers were nice. I will definitely return. ”
